Maeve's is a small little convenience/grocery store squeezed in between the town bank and an abandoned cafe up for lease. It's named for it's owner, Maeve, a friendly old lady who's refreshingly sweet and naive. She also serves as the town's local and only doctor.

Classically, the town's most popular revenue is the 'watering hole'. The pub serves as the backbone to the community, keeping most everyone tightly knit and friendly. It's a very homely, humble building that's actually fairly large. The above second level serves as the owner, Neliel's, home and the local inn. The owner of the pub is said to be under the legal age to have a license to distribute alcohol, but no one ever really pays much heed to that. It's a family business that's been passed down through the Patrick family, and since the death of old Billy, no one's questioning any illegal activities by his daughter.

Down Mappleberry Lane with a couple of humble cottages is a park. A fittingly olden day themed park with a crumbling merry go 'round and a swing set, a rusty old slide and love seat under a very old, wilting tree. No humans ever go far into this park; sometimes a daredevil teen or two will venture into it over a dare, but they'll never go further than the old tree. For beyond it is the rest of the old, wilting trees, all lined up in an eerily unpleasant border which leads into the unknown of a terrifying looking forest. This is the borderline to the Otherworld.

Yellowbrook is both a place for God loving, humble people who are naive to the true dangers of their sweet little town, and the creatures that make it unknowingly dangerous for them. The Church is typically the place of Christian or Catholic worship for the elderly population of the town, and the generally deemed 'correct' families that live in it. It's a one story, very simple building that's always quite warm, despite the usually chilly temperatures of the town outside.

If you're new to the site and would like to get a warm welcome, perhaps even spark up a few friendships around the site, then you should definitely introduce yourself in this board. Or, if you're already a member of the site, but you unfortunately have to leave for a time or forever, then it's appreciated if you could give us a farewell.
